I'm still here, and other places too...

Sorry if I've abandoned the blog for a few days. Some family issues required me to be a really good daughter this week. Not that I'm not usually a very good daughter. I believe that when life is going well, something goes wrong to remind us that we can't control everything. A humbling experience, as I told a friend earlier. Anyway, all's well now. It'll be Mother's Day here soon and I hope to have my mom around for many more to come.

Whatever my difficulties, the world keeps on spinning. A generous friend, Gemi Sasson, has organized a giveaway of my latest on her blog. It ends tomorrow, so stop by before then if you'd like a chance to win my book. Also, another amazingly kind writer, Steven Drennon, has posted an interview featuring yours truly on his blog. Of course, you've been dying to know what I might be doing if I wasn't a writer, right? Click here to find out.

Later this week, be sure to check out my next guest on New Voices, Romi Moondi with her latest, The Book of Awful--"a dropkick to the universe's nuts." Not to be missed.

Good that you're a good daughter. That's something I need to remember to be more often.

At least I get to have my Sultana time at night. I do insist on that small measure of sanity.

Thanks for the comments so far.

Time flies when you're having fun, or writing novels.

It's been a tremendous twelve months. A new job and health issues have impacted my writing time, but I'm still at it, trying to wrap...
